The final week of the ArrowCorps5 initiatives takes place at the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming. Filled with pristine watersheds, wildlife and immense wild-lands, this forest is a cornerstone of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. For this reason it is important that the U.S. Forest Service receive all the help we can offer. The two main projects consist of trail construction and fence maintenance. The majority of Arrowmen will work together to build the Teton Pass bike trail in Jackson, Wyoming. The rest of the crews will devote their efforts to fence installation and removal. The U.S. Forest Service has asked that we assist in putting up over 80 miles of fencing through the forest to act as a barrier for the Wyoming wildlife. Another small crew will assist officials by removing over a quarter mile of wooden fencing that currently displaces part of the landscape. Finally, Arrowmen will play a critical role in developing a fire-line within the forest to act as a buffer between the wilderness and Jackson city.
