Very Important Arrowmen (VIA) Luncheon

Arrowmen Raise their glasses to a good meal! The National Vice Chief talks with participantsThe Very Important Arrowmen (VIA) luncheon, sponsored by the Special Events Committee, is a unique way for Lodge Chiefs to relate to the youngest or newest member of their lodge contingent. The luncheon is an invitation only event, held in the Sun room of the Memorial Union, and takes place Sunday through Tuesday. This is one of the most popular events at NOAC, partly because there is a special menu for the meal and partly because young Arrowmen get a chance to meet the national officers.

Sash SigningDrinks were served in the common room before lunch, allowing time for the young Arrowmen to get to know their Chief. Every Arrowmen received a free can opener with their soda. Lunch was then served. When every one was finished eating, the National Vice Chief, David Dowty, gave a short speech. Then, the National Officers signed participant sashes. It was an enjoyable luncheon with lots of camaraderie between the young Arrowmen and the Lodge Chiefs.
