The 2010 Quality Lodge Recognition petition and 2009 Quality Lodge Pin order form have been posted to the forms section.

OA Wilderness Voyage Receives Eastern Region 9 Award

The Order of the Arrow received an Eastern Region 9 Honor Award from the U.S. Forest Service for the Wilderness Voyage High Adventure program contributing service to the Superior National Forest. The award is presented annually showcasing the outstanding accomplishments of dedicated employees, retirees, and private citizens.

2010 Forms Posted

The 2010 versions of the DSA Nomination form, E. Urner Goodman Camping Award Petition, Founder's Award Petition, National Service Award Petition, Vigil Honor Petition, and 2010 National Election Candidate Form are now available in the Forms Section.

2009 National Planning Meeting

During the 2009 National Planning Meeting the 2010 national chief, national vice chief, and the four region chiefs were elected. The Jamboree vice chiefs were also elected to provide leadership at the 2010 National Boy Scout Jamboree. On the final night of the meeting the 2010 Service Grant Recipients were announced.

December 2009 to February 2010 National Bulletin

The December 2009 to February 2010 National Bulletin is now posted. This includes announcements on the 2010 National Jamboree, new committees for the national committee, the United States Forest Service Award the OA received, and the updated Mission and Purpose of the Order of the Arrow.

Quality Chapter Meeting Ideas Section Added

The Unit, Chapter, and Lodge Support subcommittee of the National Order of the Arrow Committee is providing the first of several tools to our membership to better support local OA activity. To find a list of meeting ideas that have been tested, or submit some of your own click here.

OA High Adventure Update

The Order of the Arrow offers high adventure programs featuring opportunities for cheerful service. This tradition continues in the summer of 2010 with the OA Trail Crew (OATC) at Philmont and OA Wilderness Voyage (OAWV) and OA Canadian Odyssey (OACO) both at Northern Tier. There are still slots available for Arrowmen to participate in these once in a lifetime programs!

Power of One Toolkit Released

Although NOAC2009 is over, the theme and the concepts behind it have only just begun. It is because the national leadership feels so strongly about the value of this message that we are making available to sections and lodges a toolkit that could assist with local programming initiatives that reinforce THEPOWEROFONE. Capp Announces a Blocking and Tackling Focus on Supporting Units, Chapters, and Lodges
